Writing is about beautiful bold sunsets, the mist off a summer lake as the wind awakens to make it swirl and dance...thunderstorms and rain, that you can feel down to your bones.  It is about all these things, and it is about helping the reader feel these elements within the story.  It is knowing when to guide the reader to laughter, or when to guide the reader to tears.  It is conveying all these feelings at the right times and places to guide the gentle reader on the journey they wish to take.

I have always written, and I'll repeat, writing is in my blood.  I enjoy sharing a story, taking the reader upon the journey - it may be where they wish to go, or it may not.  We have no say on how a book ends or begins.  It is my goal to tell a compelling story, like a good movie, that keeps the reader engaged to the point they cannot put the book down.  They must find out what is behind the next page, the next door, over the next hill...the next sunrise...if there is one.  That is the journey I wish to take the reader upon in my writings.

I have varied interest in storytelling, and a variety of books. I am not a niche writer, but for me it is all about a good story.  I would love to hear from my fans and readers, the good, the bad, and hopefully not, but the ugly if it so must be.

Why do I write?

I hope if you read one of my books, in the end there is at least one "wow" moment where you didn't see "that" coming, or an ending you didn't expect, a plot twist that foiled you.  I hope you enjoy the book above all, and it has been a betterment in your reading reparatory.

My goal is always this:  To write something different, but in the old style, with a new ending.
